Symptoms of damage to the nervous system appear on the 18th - 21st day of the disease in the form of convulsive contractions of the masticatory muscles, other muscles of the head and limbs.
  • There may be anxiety that goes into epileptic seizures. Sometimes there is paresis, and then complete paralysis of the hind limbs.

The disease can last from four weeks to 3-4 months. More often the outcome of the disease is unfavorable and ends with the death of the animal.
