It has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antispasmodic, antiseptic, diuretic and saluretic action. Nitroxoline in its composition is active against many bacteria and some fungi that cause urinary tract infections.
Drotaverin dilates blood vessels, has a long-lasting myotropic and antispasmodic effect, eliminates muscle spasms of the urinary tract. The active components of medicinal plants have diuretic, antiseptic, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties, helps to remove stones in urolithiasis.
Contraindications and side effects
Prescribe the drug to dogs for the prevention and treatment of acute and chronic inflammation and infectious diseases of the urinary tract (pyelonephritis, cystitis, urethritis) and urolithiasis, as well as in the postoperative period after removal of urinary stones.
As a rule, side effects from the drug is not observed. Only in hypersensitive animals in very rare cases, allergic reactions, diarrhea, vomiting are possible. When such signs appear, the drug is stopped.
